The South Carolina Association of CPAs is proud to produce its annual “Tax Guide for Legislators,” which assists our representatives with their specific income tax implications of being a state legislator.

sc.gov – The official website of South Carolina, connecting everyone to the Palmetto State’s services and information.
irs.gov – Internal Revenue Service. You can find forms and related instructions, publications that explain rules and regulations, and you can determine the status of a refund.
dor.sc.gov – The South Carolina Department of Revenue website contains South Carolina tax forms, guidance, advisory opinions and news.
dew.sc.gov – The South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce, with quick links to the online portals you and your business need. The SC DEW is responsible for paying unemployment insurance benefits, collecting unemployment taxes, helping people find jobs, matching businesses with qualified candidates, and collecting and disseminating state/federal employment statistics.

scbos.sc.gov – South Carolina Business One Stop. The state’s official site for registering new businesses, it includes tutorials, checklists, FAQs, due dates, workshops and training opportunities.
