SCACPA is the only organization dedicated to protecting and promoting the CPA profession in South Carolina. We build strong relationships with state and federal legislators to influence bills impacting CPAs and the business community. Through efforts like the #WhyCPA campaign, we advocate for the value of CPAs to clients and local businesses.

SCACPA supports students on their journey to becoming CPAs by providing scholarships, discounts on exam reviews, and promoting career opportunities. By engaging with students and educators, SCACPA helps ensure a strong talent pipeline for the CPA profession.

Fellow $940 A licensed CPA working and/or living in South Carolina.
Fellow Retired $555 A licensed CPA working and/or living in South Carolina averaging less than 20 working hours a week and 62 years of age or older; OR, CPAs who are properly registered with the South Carolina Board of Accountancy in “Retired” status.
Non-Resident $555 A CPA living and working outside of South Carolina.
Government $555 A licensed CPA or accounting professional working and/or living in South Carolina and employed by a federal, state, or municipal government agency or department, including school districts.
Educator $555 A licensed CPA, or non-CPA teaching accounting, at a 2 or 4-year college, university, or high school in South Carolina who agrees to perform certain responsibilities. Adjunct professors do not qualify.
Affiliate $555 Non-CPA professional.
CPA Candidate $555 Obtained an Accounting degree from an accredited program, approved applicant for the Uniform CPA Exam actively pursuing certificate and licensure and employment in an accounting capacity, pursuing CPA certification.
Student $50 A full-time student currently enrolled in the study of accounting at a 2 or 4-year college, university, or high school in South Carolina with an interest in the CPA profession. To apply, please complete the Student Member Application.
